Morgan Aryn Bauer was born on April, 13, 1996, in Memphis, Tennessee to mother Sherri Keenan. In 2014, Bauer graduated from Central High School in Aberdeen, South Dakota.Aberdeen is located about 125 miles north of Pierre. The population is around 28,000 residents making it the third most populous city.
Bauer left her hometown of Aberdeen, South Dakota caught a ride with a friend to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she boarded a plane to Atlanta, Georgia, arriving on February 12, 2016.
For one night she stayed with someone she met online, Craiglists, to be exact. She was supposed to clean and do chores for the man until she found a job and could pay rent, but he asked her to leave, so she checked into a hotel.
She worked for about a week as an exotic dancer in Gainesville, Georgia, then returned to Atlanta, where she was sighted at the Tease strip club on Cheshire Bridge Road on February 25. The club manager said she had applied for a job, but didn't have the correct paperwork. Atlanta requires an Adult entertainment permit which costs around $200.
Bauer kept in close touch with her friends after she left South Dakota, but all the contact stopped on February 25. She was last seen at a Citgo gas station in the 3200 block of Highway 278 in Covington, Georgia in the early morning hours of February 27.
A couple had taken her to the gas station. They were interviewed by police but no further leads developed.
Since then, she hasn't been on social media, which is very uncharacteristic of her; she normally posted daily. She had very little money at the time of her disappearance.
Police found no evidence, means, or motive for foul play in Morgan Bauer’s disappearance. A $5,000 reward is being offered by her mother for information leading to Morgan’s discovery.
A social media post showed Morgan at a park –and there was a man in the photograph behind her. Police have not revealed if they know who that person is or where the video was taken. Morgan’s mother is holding out hope that her daughter is still alive but fears she may have been trafficked.
“People probably can’t understand what it feels like to have days turn into weeks, into months, and then years.”
The circumstances of Morgan Bauer’s disappearance remain unclear and her case is currently classified as missing. Her case remains unsolved.

⦁ and “It’s in herself she will find the strength she needs” written on her left hip
Her ears are gauged and her lips are pierced twice on the right side. Her navel is pierced.
